MY LOVE AFFAIR WITH WOODWORKING
I absolutely love working with wood. I always have...just like my father and grandfather. There is a satisfying sense of accomplishment when finishing every project. It's a feeling of relief (to be finished) and low-key pride (in what I created).

Woodworking is a lot like golf. The more you practice the better your skills become. However, getting 18 straight holes-in-one on a golf course and achieving woodworking perfection are both virtually impossible. I think that's what keeps me coming back. The pursuit of perfection and, of course, putting a smile on someone's face with a one-of-a-kind creation!
HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS
No assembly lines or mass production here. My products are handmade, one at a time and no two are exactly alike. My hardwoods come from a small local lumber supplier. I work with black walnut, hard maple, cherry, Eastern red cedar, Western cedar, white oak, sycamore, white pine, and more! The majority of the hardwoods I use are sourced from North Carolina, Virginia or Pennsylvania. I hand pick every kiln-dried board for the best quality available. Starting each project with the best wood available translates in to a finished product that will last for years to come.
PERSONALIZED APPROACH
After a 40-year career in the radio business, my wife Lilly & I made the decision for me to step away. This has afforded me the time to focus on my woodworking and I'm forever grateful to her for the opportunity.

Enough about me. If you have a specific idea or project in mind, tell me about it. If it's something I believe I can handle, I will give you a fair estimate. If I think that it's over my head, I'll be the first to say so. Nothing ventured, nothing gained -- so let's talk!
